Sports Engineer

Having already enjoyed several co-ops with Sportworks Design, Kayleigh joined as a full-time employee in 2017. Since then, she’s worked on a variety of sports projects that include new football stadiums and tracks, softball and baseball fields, and tennis courts. Kayleigh’s experience includes concessions, plazas, and parking lot expansions to create a great atmosphere and experience for fans and athletes. She focuses on topographical and utility design, and earthwork calculations through the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D. Kayleigh is excited that she can combine her passion for sports with her education in civil engineering to launch a fulfilling sports design career.

Kayleigh was the 2020-2021 President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Cincinnati Professional Section when the Section celebrated its 200th year. In this role, she plans monthly professional meetings focused on projects happening around the tri-state area. Kayleigh enjoys doing outreach to show students the pathways of engineering and how rewarding a career it can be. We are very excited to have Kayleigh’s leadership, drive, and desire to improve and grow inside and outside of the Company. Her strengths are proving to translate to the clients she works with at Sportworks.
